I am rotten to the core
I am mean
I am selfish
I am hateful
Yet full of love
But I don't care
Because reaching my core
Started a new beginning
Words dont' hurt me
Anymore
I know who I am
I know how I act
& I don't think I'm mean
& I don't think I'm selfish
& I don't think i'm hateful
But one thing agreed upon is
That I don't care
because I don't
People touch me
in different ways
People rub me the wrong way
But I don't care
Because I don't think
I don't live in the past
I don't worry about the future
These thoughts never cross through the present
My mind is at ease
Living in it's nest
In a world of perpetual bliss
Resting in the inner peace
Making me thoughtless
But not in a bad way.
I just don't care
